About ProjectPitBull.org | How to List Your Foster/Rescue |
Pit Bull Project is not a rescue but instead we play match maker with potential owners. If you are interested in a specific dog you see here please contact the person listed as the contact for each dog. Sometimes Jason Mann is the contact and he will put you in touch with the dogs owner/care giver.
Thanks for stopping by. We truly appreciate your support.

Angie
Angie was found wandering South Cobb Drive by the
wonderful people at Dogma Daycare. They've been kind enough to let Angie
stay with them for the past month. She is roughly 7 months old, weighs
approximately 45 pounds and as you can see has a beautiful brindle coat which is
predominantly blonde.
She is heartworm negative and has been given all her shots. Angie has not
been spayed yet. Spaying is a condition of adoption before she is allowed to
go to your home.
Angie recently attended a Pit Bull Training Workshop taught by Jason Mann. Angie
is continuing her training with a nice man from Dogma who takes her to his home
so she can get away from the kennel for a little while each week.
Note from Jason Mann: I have personally worked with this dog. Angie is
sharp, quick to learn, and will without a doubt make an excellent addition to
your home. If you have the ability to give her a good home my advice is to
do so, today.
For more information about Angie please call Dogma at 770-436-4346.

Shug
Shug was born in April of 2008. We found each other in August of 2009 and basically rescued each other. He has been my constant companion since that day. I have PTSD and he has been such a gentle, nurturing spirit in my world and I believe he has a special purpose in his life. I hope and pray that together we can help him find it, just like he found me.
He is 65 lbs, neutered, microchipped, a love monkey, loves to go bye bye, is potty trained, had some obedience training. He's a house dog who sleeps in his crate and loves being around people--he RARELY barks unless something is amuck!
Shug needs to be the only animal in the home, from what I can tell, lizards and frogs just fascinate him and he isn't a big fan of squirrels.
He needs to be the only pet in the household.
Please open your hearts and spread the word of this amazing dog. If you have ANY questions, wisdom, leads, or advice, please contact Amy Sturgeon at (606)739-5670, (615-513-1757) amysturgeon@rocketmail.com or

FatBoy
Fatboy is a six and a half year old male American Pit Bull Terrier who
loves to chase tennis balls, go for walks, curl up on the bed, and loves to
swim. He is neutered and is current on all shots and annual tests. Fatboy
is registered with the United Kennel Club and American Dog Breeders
Association and his papers are available to a new owner. He's a graduate
from basic obedience classes and has a wonderful spirit and tremendous energy.
In April 2010 Fatboy's owner was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and
suffered a traumatic brain injury and sadly needs to find him a new home.
His current owners can no longer provide the attention and care this
wonderful dog needs. He's a great dog for an active family with no small
children or small animals. He has lived comfortably with two other American
Pit Bull Terriers (APBT), one female of the same age and a younger male.
He has some special medical needs around outdoor allergies and is in excellent
health otherwise.
